Welcome to Canada Class! We have had a fabulous busy term, settling in the new children and getting used to the classroom rules and routines. In Nursery we plan from the children's interests and we have began to introduce the curiosity approach in the setting, limiting plastic and introducing natural resources. The children learn, by playing and exploring, being active, and being creative and critical thinkers. This takes place both indoors and outside throughout the year. This half term already the children have shown an interest in castles. They have built their own and made crowns, as well as dancing to traditional music.

The staff in nursery keep track of your children’s learning development by recording observations and placing them in their own learning journey. You too can contribute towards your child’s learning journey by recording an observation on the parents communication sheet.
